By the end of our stay they were bravely going down the kid slides which are more or less centrally located. We first went to the water area near the dumping water bucket and that kind of scared them. For little ones I would recommend to go the farthest water area past the wave pools to get them used to the park. Saw 5 years olds to 70ish olds enjoying the slides and pools. So in a way the hotel is being green, I guess. Part of the darkness is due to just using lamps, and part of it is due to using fluorescent lamps in the bathroom/sink areas. Never heard a quiet AC unit unless it is off. AC units are in each of the rooms and I would say they are their normal in noise level. Didn't experience any excessive noises, but may have been due to the fact of having a stair case on one side of the room and a service elevator on another. Was worried about the past reviews that noted the noise levels being loud in the hallways. ![]() All beds were good, with the kids sleeping to 10 in the morning(this is a first) they usually sleep to around 8. ![]() We slept in the separate main room which had a smallish queen. We stayed in the two room suite with the 2 year old using the resorts pack and play, and the 4 year old sleeping in the king size bed. Our family is comprised of two 30ish parents with a 2 and 4 year old. ![]() Just came back from a 2 night stay at the Great Wolf Lodge that I'm happy enough to write about. Of course this isn't the only place to stay at Wisconsin Dells and may not be the best.but if you want good clean fun, this will do fine-In my own opinion More Show less We ate a dinner at Moose Jaw resturant and it was really good. We only spent 2 nights there, so there wasn't much time to hit all of the attractions in the area, but lots of fun and only 7 hr drive from our house. Its close to the interstate and other attractions. The staff was friendly and seemed to really pay attention to things. The pool areas (which is the reason we stayed there) were enjoyed by everyone of all ages. Attention to detail! Our A/C didn't seem to want to kick on and the baby crib wasn't staying upright.1 call to the front desk about both problems and we had a brand new crib in about 3 minutes, and 2 repair men that came to fix the AC within 10min and it was repaired-just frozen up or something. There was a nice kitchen, HUGE bathrooms, nice TVs etc. On other trips they have had Trick or Treating, a dance party, a coloring station.just quick, fun activities to help the kids have fun! Main Point:We enjoy staying at the Great Wolf - It's a fun-packed trip for the kids and creates some good, fun family memories for those of us who don't have much family time due to work schedules, school schedules, & etc.We stayed in a 2 room suite with family. The girls try to get to the Story Time and Clock Tower show for kids at least once each visit - they have outgrown wanting their photo taken with the characters, but still like watching the show! On our most recent trip in March 2013, there were Cub Club members making balloon animals and painting faces for the kids in the lobby each night. We love the snack bar/coffee shop in the lobby and visit for ice cream every night. We have eaten in the restaurant in the lobby at each visit and enjoyed our meals. ![]() We love that MagiQuest is attached to the resort and spend much of our non-poolside time there. They have updated the beds & mattresses to the kid cabin suite since our last visit (my only complaint is that the mattresses were too firm for my liking). The resort staff is always helpful (took them less than 5 minutes to bring us a new remote for the kids' TV!). The lifeguards are very professional and attentive. The waterparks are fun and close together. Our family enjoys the kid-friendly environment. We have been to the Great Wolf Lodge in the Wisconsin Dells several times now.
